BREAKING OUT

    When compared to the soundtrack version, this song is somewhat different in the film, at least on how it ends.  The soundtrack and the film version are both "live" versions, per say, but the ending on the soundtrack is professionally made, with only the band singing, whereas the end of the film "live" version features audience participation in the studio audience (they shout "breaking out" which does not appear on the soundtrack).
    The introduction of the band is done by Ralph who messes up.  He starts to say one thing, but then notices the cue card reads an entirely different introduction.
    This song, in the very original script, was to be sung by Rocky Horror.
    In the film, you will notice twice a woman, dressed for the 1960's, overly excited.  This woman is Oscar and Brenda Drill's mother, as noted in "The Brad and Janet Show," the original script for Shock Treatment.  The script also clarified that Glish Davidson is Brenda's boyfriend.
