"Riff Raff," Dr. Scott said, nervously.
"Hello, Dr. Scott. Since you have no problem
operating the transport tubes, might I suggest you do the same for me?"
Magenta slipped past Dr. Scott and went into one
of the glass tubes.
Dr. Scott asked Riff Raff, "What makes you think
I'd help you escape?"
Riff Raff stepped closer to Dr. Scott and lowered
the gun so that it points to Dr. Scott's groin area. "Come on, Dr.
Scott. Don't you like me?" There was a sense of evil
in Riff Raff's voice as he said this.
Dr. Scott felt the power that Riff Raff held over
him and swallowed hard. He answered, "You're okay by me."
Riff Raff didn't notice someone approaching him
from behind. Dr. Scott did, however, as did Magenta. But before
anyone could say anything, the zombie-like Transylvanian prisoner standing
behind Riff Raff reached out to him. The prisoner had no head, and
his extended arms felt the air -- but touched Riff Raff instead.
Riff Raff felt the touch and turned around quickly.
The prisoner fell forward, clumsily on Riff Raff, knocking him backwards,
over Dr. Scott's wheelchair. Riff Raff fell to the ground, dropping
the laser gun.
When Riff Raff pushed the prisoner off him (leaving
the prisoner crawling helpless on the floor), he looked up and saw that
Dr. Scott had retrieved the laser and was pointing it at Riff Raff.
Riff Raff swallowed hard, trying to figure out what
to do next.
The speakers in the room sounded: "Explosion in
30 seconds and counting. 29. 28. 27. 26."
Dr. Scott smiled, "And people thought I couldn't
be mean..."
Riff Raff nervously repeated Dr. Scott's words:
"You're okay by me."
"Please," Magenta said, "let us go. We let
you escape at one time. My brother had no intention of hurting you,
Dr. Scott. He just wanted insurance to leave."
Dr. Scot took a second or two to think about it,
then he said, "Yes, you did allow me to leave a year ago. I'll return
the favor so we'll be even." Dr. Scott threw the gun hesitantly back
to Riff Raff.
Riff Raff couldn't believe what just happened.
In the last final seconds of Transylvania's existence, Dr. Scott had a
soft spot. Riff Raff stood up and carried his laser gun into the
second glass tube, and then asked Dr. Scott, "Send us to Transgender --
it's a nearby planet."
Dr. Scott looked down at the controls, and made
a few adjustments to the "destination" control, and then asked if they
were ready.
"10. 9. 8. 7." the speaker sounded.
"Yes," Riff Raff said.
Then, with a press of a button, the room filled
with a bright light as Riff Raff and Magenta were zapped to their destination.
A second later, Dr. Scott looked at the empty tubes
and said aloud to nobody, "Well, at least I have the satisfaction of knowing
you're not going to Transgender!"
Then, with only a few seconds left, he whispered,
"Goodbye Brad and Janet."
If anyone could have a front row seat from outerspace,
the event would have seemed astounding. As space shuttles were fleeing
from the planet, things seemed quiet, regardless of the hurriedness of
the space crafts leaving. The planet seemed peaceful, quiet.
Then suddenly: BOOM!
The planet exploded from one side, an explosion
so big it literally shattered the remaining planet. A blaze of fire
shot out past the departing spaceships, knocking some that were a little
too close for comfort. Seconds later, the fire was gone, leaving
tiny rocks in space that once was a planet known as Transexual.
IN CHAPTER 20: Brad and Janet are back in Denton, once again. But how will this adventure effect their lives? Will they ever be able to enjoy their honeymoon? Find out!
