SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Sal Piro, a longtime fan of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" eventually started the international Rocky Horror Picture Show fan club, where he still remains president of it today.  He appeared as himself in the film, "Fame," hosting a preshow for The Rocky Horror Picture Show.  He has written 2 books, Creatures of the Night and Creatures of the Night 2, and has written introductions for various Rocky Horror related publications.  In Shock Treatment, he can be seen (with his back to the camera) talking on the payphone underneith the spiral stairs as the floor manager descends them during the opening song "Overture."
