EMILY: (accepting the coffee) "Thank you."
KIRK: "Yeah, she was terrific! Sexyyyyy!"
(Janet's parents throw Kirk a look of disapproval)
HARRY: "What?!"
(There is a moment of awkward silence before Kirk recovers with
a bow of apology)
KIRK: (trying to recover) "At the same time--fresh, untouched.
You know. Hey, how's Brad?"
HARRY and EMILY: (in unison) "He's fine." (They stare
at each other in awkwardness)
KIRK: "He's a lucky dog--with a pretty girl like that for a wife."
HARRY: (accepting a coffee from Kirk) "He sure
is."
(Kirk offers some sugar for the coffee)
HARRY: "No sugar. Thanks Kirk." (He and
Emily exit)
Kirk: (to floor manager) "Well, I'll sugar his daughters!"
(They both laugh)
BETTY: "Coffee, Kirk. I'm dying for it."
KIRK: (presenting her with an upside-down empty coffee cup)
"R.I.P., Betty..."
KIRK: "...you're off the air."
